"Super" Goes Girly
By Lois Lane
Looking up in the sky, the denizens of Metropolis have gotten used to a certain Super hero in red and blue. Last week, a second Super arrived into town. Calling herself Supergirl, she's Superman's cousin; she wears the same distinctive shield Metropolis has come to recognize and cherish.

New to town, her introduction to the life of a hero came in the company of a likewise teenaged hero named Kid Flash. Together, the duo stopped a would be criminal in Midtown.

"Now that I've developed powers the same as his, he's agreed to mentor me so I can use my abilities to make the world a better place," said the Girl of Steel during an exclusive interview at the Daily Planet. "And I'll be patrolling with him, acting on my own when he's off handling emergencies outside of Metropolis."

Superman gave his cousin his support by saying, "Supergirl is a hero in her own right and has already saved a handful of New York citizens."

Heroing runs in the family, thankfully. The world is getting filling up with super human people, some

of which don't have our best interests at heart.
