Meteor in Metropolis
By Lois Lane

A few nights ago, the skies over Metropolis were lit by a firey meteor falling from the sky.

The rock, leading astronomers told the Planet, did not show up on the NEO satellite designed to locate and track Near Earth Objects and assess the threat level to life on Earth. "We believe the object was just too small, and was

moving at a velocity that made it difficult to spot," stated Dr. Rafael De Leon of the Zimmermann Obsevatory in Boulder, Colorado in a phone interview.

Superman was spotted stopping the meteor as it fell into Centennial Park. He has not yet provided a comment on the matter, as he flew away to take care of the extraterrestrial object.
