issue facing human rights and equality. I am fully in support of Mutant Rights and Equality and in light of Worthington Industries' indecisions regarding this subject, I must step down from my position as Vice President of this company and its subsidiaries.'

Worthington, Jr., father of Worthington III and Chief Executive Officer of Worthington Industries stated only, 'Privately, his mother and I continue to offer love and support to our son, but as a company, we are not yet prepared for the social and economic ramifications of this revelation. The Board has decided, however, to accept his resignation at this time.'
