Someone with a morbid sense of humor at Gotham Gazette has written a short blurb about the death of one 'Saul Masters', a member of Gotham's polite society, at his county estate yesterday. Details from the official police report are very sketchy, but an inside source revealed that Saul had been slashed to death by an unknown assassin. As he was behind several levels of security, including locked doors and bodyguards, it is suspected that this was an inside job. Police have no leads, but a number of suspects have been implicated.
Additional information has revealed that Saul Masters was a contributor to Sen. Castroneves Super-Pac, and had provided a significant campaign contribution immediately followed the promotion of the Meta-Human registration act. Moreover, Saul Master's family trust fund was heavily invested in several private companies that are being considered to aid with the registration act's logistics.
