Emerging from the turbo lift, Alex steps out in his fancy super suit. He seems excited because there is s sitting in his step and a focus in his eyes. He is headed for the war room.
The Iceman's on his way out of the Danger Room right now. Dressed in his usual 'uniform' of boots, bandannas, and his X-shorts, he's returned to human form. Rolling his shoulder, he perks up slightly as he spots Alex. "Hey, what's the rush, Hoola Hoops?"
"Frosty, dude. Walk with me. " he continues his route to the war room. "Didya hear? Scott's back." is asked with a slant to the positive.
Bobby hums as he's walking along, untying the X-logo bandanna from around his head. "I heard," he replies. "Didn't think you'd sound so thrilled about it."
"Me either.. But he's my brother and well, it's hard to stay mad at him." Moving into the war room Alex continues, "He's got a plan and it seems cool." he moves to a terminal.
"I don't know. I find it pretty easy," Bobby remarks in that 'probably joking' way of his. In the War Room, Bobby quirks a brow. "Plan for what?" he asks, looking over Alex's shoulder.
Alex pulls up schematics of mutant town. "He wants to install a presence in mutant town. There is trouble brewing and we also have ex students living there whom can render assistance.
"Ex Students," Bobby says flatly. "Like who?" he asks, leaning against the wall. "There's -always- trouble brewing in the city. I go down a lot and do the superhero thing."
"No idea. He said he would introduce. I'm sure they are people who came and went while I was away. It's good you're active. I've not had the chance, and don't feel I'm quite ready. Which is why I've been in the danger room so much."
"If its who I think it might be," Bobby sighs. "We might as well start evacuating Mutant Town before the idiot gets the whole place burnt to the ground," he says, rolling his eyes. He then smirks a little nudging Alex's shoulder. "Oh, you know I'm taking you on a patrol with me now."
"Totally. But who are you thinking is the new threat?" asked Alex while looking at the map.
"I didn't mean the threat," Bobby says. "I meant the ex student he might be trying to put down there."
Alex gives pause and looks to Bobby. "I'm not sure I follow. What student? Is there a situation I'm not aware of?"
"Burlesque," Bobby replies. "Told ya about her already," he reminds Alex. "I heard she's living out there and if she's the one Scott is thinking of putting in charge of any teams, he needs to think of someone new."
"Oh yeah. I met her. She doesn't set right with me. Strikes me as mentally unstable and to unpredictable." replies Alex as he takes a seat and reclines facing Bobby
Taking a seat as well, Bobby arches both brows. "Well, you agreeing with me is a nice change," he remarks. "I'm not sure we need to put down a base in Mutant Town. I wouldn't hurt if more than just me actually went out into the city to make ourselves known as heroes sometime. I mean...just do a little patrolling. Team up with some others. Do that calendar again."
"That was my suggestion as well. No base, just patrols." (ic and ooc because of our lack of numbers) "But he does have an agenda and ideas for a strike team. It will be a challenge, but goof to work with him again. I think he and I have both changed a lot, grown a lot. But I still don't have details. He's writing it all up and well move on it when Xavier gives the a okay.
"Strike team? We barely have enough X-men right now for a plain team," Bobby groans, running a hand through his hair. "Good he's back but maybe I gotta have a talk with him," he sighs. Of course when the Professor comes up, Bobby frowns. "I think the Prof might be distracted for awhile..."
"Distracted? Is Lilandra here?" Alex will ask with a tone of humour. "Again though. I don't know specifics and technically just starting rumors. You know how hearsay works. So until it's on paper I'm gonna walk around ready for a fun filled fight against evil mutants."
"I meant he whole thing with the big guy that tore up our front hall," Bobby replies with a little smile. "That'd be the Professor's half-brother," he explains. He then flashes a grin. "Dude, get ready for more than a fight with evil mutants. When we go out on patrol, we kick all the evil butts."
"I'm so down for that..." is said about the future fighting. But as he processes the first of the statement. "Wait, what? That Juggernaut bitch is the professors what?"
Bobby nods, leaning back again. "That's what the Professor said. That Jugghead's his long lost half brother. One he thought died but apparently didn't and now wants to crack his head open like a shiny telepathic egg."
"Damn. So what's the deal with him? Are we keeping him imprisoned downstairs for a while?"
Bobby lets out a breath and shrugs. "I think we're holding onto him until the Professor figures out what to do," he says. "But he's got major power and was after the Prof which is why he had me get him out of the school the other day. Make big and ugly chase him instead of wrecking up the place."
Alex nods, "That will battle was a cluster fuck. I initially blamed myself because I wasn't there from the start, and then my ineffectiveness against him. But now I know he is indestructible. Which is insane. Anyway. I also noted a lack of team tactics. Which under my brother was stellar. I'm guessing Logan is good as a leader. But we didn't have his, or anyone's direction. "
"No one's entirely indestructible. Just have to find the right thing to hit 'em with and the right way," Bobby reasons. "Team tactics were working alright until Juggs knocked the Professor for a loop and that weird girl in red invisted herself onto the fight. Kind of broke up what we had going on so I went with the last thing the Prof said to do...get 'em away from the school so Juggernaut chases and doesn't wreck our home."
"Yeah. I missed that part. Oh yeah. Who was that girl? Did we lock her up too for trespassing?l Alex asks with a great idea for the holding cells underneath the Mansion. He even wears a smile considering who else needs to be locked up.
"I didn't get her name," Bobby shrugs. "But apparently she's a potential new student Storm met and told to come visit. And rather than introducing herself or not jumping in...she got ice-blasted."
Alex laughs. "Dude, I saw, You did good. Better you than me. I would have vaporized her." He will stand. "I need to practice... speaking of all this. I'm still rusty."
Bobby flashes a quick grin and then hops to his feet. "Well, I just finished running a test on some new toys in the Danger Room. If ya wanna take 'em for an official test drive with me..."
"Dude, totally. Let's rock it out and see if we can break the danger room." Alex will head that way.
