What: Selina and David meet for the first time.

New blood in New York City, a young man from out of the country has taken up residence in a Penthouse in upscale New York City. The young man clearly a teenage with money to burn or spend has been moving things up and into his apartment. Including some fairly bulky items it seems. Perhaps the most unusual would be Aquarium equipment from one of the most predominate pet shops in New York City. For the most part David has had little time to relax wanting to get everything situated and put away.

Hanging pictures on the wall, vases, and sculptures around his place. It's in a Japanese Style of Decor. For his place he has dedicated an entire room to some artwork. Well actually On the walls hang racks of neatly displayed Japanese weapons, Swords, Spears, bows, staves. All neatly lined up, on the far wall are a collection of racks that hold Crystal animals, Dragons, lions, horses. Every imaginable creature. In the same room is a massive saltwater Aquarium and in the center a meditation pillow. With moving in and organizing everything taking the better part of two days. David is currently setting up his computer system. For anyone who doesn't know David... this place is like a candy shop.'

Selina had walked past the man's unloading from the street. She'd been in the city and had been dealing with business and it'd just so happened she'd seen some items being taken into this luxury apartment building that had piqued her interest, so she'd made a mental note to return later that evening. She wasn't in full gear, however, as this was a very tall building and she was not spider-man. She merely had walked through the front door of the apartment building, wearing a black coat that hung down around her thighs, her black hair hanging down behind her head... she'd smiled at the doorman and made her way to the elevators, her beauty often made her not be questioned as to why she was entering places such as this... because she looked as though she belonged.

She followed the clues to reach the penthouse level and she picked the door's lock and walked inside of the man's new apartment/penthouse, letting her eyes looking around... if anyone found her walking inside she'd merely pretend to have entered the wrong home. Selina quietly walked through the main room, eyeing things up and down... beneath her coat was her gear however, she just wasn't wearing the helmeted mask at the moment.

David's Apartment is very well furnished, but open with the scent of incense burning. Items of display are on pedestals, but those with a keen eye can quickly tell, While they look like famous works of art. They are in fact Reproductions. The Statues, and other similar works of art. But the pictures like from Japan are beautiful and are Legitimate works of art. Just bulky to transport, The room off to the side which houses his Aquarium weapons, and Crystal figures, these... these are real. Perhaps hundreds or nearly a thousand years old, to the right buyer a good piece of change.

As for David he's moving through his apartment when he notices something is off, the air in his room, he inhales as the scent is not as strong as he would have expected. So kneeling down he feels the carpet near his front door for any depressions, narrowing his eyes before standing up and looks around the place very carefully. Pulling out a small metal tube and he holds it in his hands and slowly starts to walk to his meditation room.

Selina was just taking inventory of this penthouse. She hadn't really planned on taking anything as of yet, she was just utterly curious about what she'd find here... She knew the owner was likely home, but that didn't really concern her as she was confident in her ability to talk her way out of almost any situation... should they even come across her. Paintings... paintings were some of Selina's favorite things, she had a whole wall of paintings in her apartment, just leaned up against the wall in stacks (not actually hung up, mind you) and she'd swap the one at the front out now and then to stare at it for a few weeks before changing again.

She eyed his paintings very closely, loving just about all of them... but those valuable little figures really caught her eye. She quietly stepped over toward them, her hand stuffed into the pockets of her black canvas long coat and she just eyed the statues, drawing her jade-hued pupils across their contours. "Lovely." She whispered to herself.

'Knowing that someone was in his home and moving softly on the carpet he peeks inside the room and then Spots the intruder. Eyes roaming over her coat as he does his best to note the detail of her coat to see what she is shaped like under it. Black... good at masking bulges. So he listens to her as she looks at the figurines. Slowly he opens the door and says softly. "If you like it so much. You may have it." David is standing in the doorway of the room holding what appears to be a small metal tube with a sharp pin in the end. A dart gun? who knows as he does not move hostile or aggressive, "But first perhaps you would like to tell me what you are doing in my home?" David is a boy, perhaps barely 18 if that. Young calm and confident. Oriental with some Caucasian features

Selina looked up at the sound of a voice and over to see the young man holding the metal rod. She offered the young man a smile then, her lips were painted a dark raspberry red and it contrasted vividly against her pale soft skin. She turned to face him completely then and she pulled her hands out of her longcoat's pockets and walked toward him with a card in her right hand offered to him. "I'm really sorry, the door was open when I was passing by, I thought something bad might be happening." She said. "I'm, Selina, I work with one of the residents here in the building. I'm an art collector and... when I saw your stuff I just sort've got drawn in." She told him, glancing back to the paintings and other such things around the room. She looked back at him then. "I really am sorry, I know its horribly rude of me. I'll leave at once."

When Selina approaches him he actually takes a step back and listens to her as she says, his door was open. That was a lie he had it closed, maybe not locked perhaps. Still as he listens to her he seems to hold that metal tube closer. He's on edge and guard, Listening to every single word and watching her movement. As he listens to her as an art collector. "Sadly most of my collection is reproductions, with a few exceptions, gifts from my father." He doesn't look at the card but pockets it. He's dressed in of all things Blue Jeans, a t-shirt and a vest. His hair is slicked back in perfect order as he will say, "Well since you know your art, perhaps you would care to demonstrate your knowledge?" he asks. He's calling her on her statement to see if she knows what she is talking about.

Selina lowered her hand after he took the card and laced her fingers together in front of her lap where she stood to attempt to look as non-threatening as she could. She kept a soft smile for the young man as well, whom she could see didn't believe her and was on-edge about all of it. She stared at him for a few silent passing seconds and then nodded once. "Of course." She said with a soft exhaling gasp and she looked to her left toward one of his oriental paintings. "This one here is 'Jade River Sun' by Oriatu Sakawi." She turned to the painting and walked over toward it to stare at it, her own jade-hued eyes admiring the green river and the wicker boat that floats across it. "Its over a hundred and fifty years old and I believe sold for close to seventy five thousand dollars at auction in nineteen sixty five." She glanced back to David then. "There-abouts anyway." She said with a slight grin of her darkly painted lips toward him. "I assume its been with your family since then? Its a beautiful piece."

As he listens to her he smiles when she points out the Jade River Sun. "Yes, A hundred and fifty two years old if I am not mistaking. Yes, It reminded father of the place he and Mother met." He says and he steps back. David seems to relax some at least putting the pin in his pocket and keeping it close at hand. Although his English is perfect he says, "You will have to forgive me. I have not been in America for more that a few days. coming over to a painting with a number of people in a boat pushing off the shore he says, "Shipping off the Fujijama, Japan, in early Morning Light." He says to her.

He doesn't seem to be too offended with her intrusion. it seems. "Would you like me to take your coat and get you some tea?" he asks politely.'

Selina turned toward him when he was about halfway through what he ws saying. She kept her hands together in front of her lap. "Oh, no... I shouldn't." She said, glancing toward the painting he was near to now. "It was rude of me to step into your home like this to begin with." She looked back at him and smiled warmly. "Its nice to see someone as young as yourself have an interest in art though. I admire that." She complimented him and then looked down at herself. "I have to be at a New Years event here soon, so I shouldn't stay. But I certainly appreciate the offer." She told him, raising her eyes back up to him. Truth is she was wearing very peculiar clothing beneath that coat and if he saw it... he... probably wouldn't think she were an art dealer anymore.

Listening to her he smiles at her as she says it's nice that he enjoys art work. "True, a lot of younger Generations prefers the more modern. But Growing up in Japan has given me an eye to appreciate the finer things. Although I fail to see the need to spend a million dollars on a piece of art that belongs in a museum for everyone to enjoy." As she talks about the New years party. "Ay yes, New years. I hope you have a wonderful new years, and I hope it brings you good fortune." he says allowing her to take her leave if she wishes escorting her to the door.'

Selina did walk toward the door, listening to him as he spoke. "I would very much like to go to Japan someday. I've always heard nothing but great things about it." She told him, reaching the area just in front of the door. She turned to him and smiled, offered him a light nod then and put her hands back into her black long coat's pockets. "You shouldn't offer your art to others for free though. If anything, you should sell it to someone such as myself... and give the money earned to a charity. After all, you never know if the person you're giving it away to has honest intentions with the classic piece that... as you say, belongs in a museum." She gave the young man a smile and then reached her right hand out to offer a shake with him.

Long distance to Selina Kyle: Razor smiles as he says, "Very true. I will consider what you have said. But I would much rather donate such to a museum." is all he responds to her shaking her hand with his Own and then bows his head to her slightly as he says, "Japan, you will not forget the beauty of any time soon should you see. If you do go, attempt to go in the spring. When the Trees will be in bloom." he will watch her leave his place and then closes and firmly locks his door.
