Andrew Wiggins is a war-veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a purple heart recipient, but before that he was a notable competitive martial artist and marksmen. His reputation is minuscule compared to that of his father and grandfather however, who were both top-brass in the military long before him. Rumor has it he was nearly killed in some country, but he rarely speaks of it. In fact the only way to speak to him is if you find him on a corner. He is homeless and injured, and quite hard to find.

Abilities

Attribute: Dexterity (4)

At one time in Andrew's life, he had been more dexterous, until he took several bullets to his legs and abdomen. Despite everything, his reflexes were still as sharp as a razor from his nearly inhumane training methods, but he still blames himself for any sluggishness he might still encounter.

Attribute: Intellect (3)

Wiggins mother was a highly acclaimed member of the Intelligence community, and because of this passed on a rather high IQ to her son.

Attribute: Perception (6)

Andrew Wiggins is one sharp cookie. His years in the martial and shooting arts honed his senses, while his years in the Marines fine-tuned them. In his unit, he was considered the Designated Marksman because of his unusually keen eye.

Attribute: Strength (3)

Andrew went through extreme physical conditioning and training while in the Himalayan Mountains. Despite not appearing overly muscular, his muscles are dense, allowing him to defy normal human standards of strength without appearing overly buff.

Attribute: Toughness (4)

Wiggins has gone through hell and back. His rough childhood, marine boot camp, the Unspoken training in the Himalayas. The flanking. He had been beaten, and shot. Wiggins was no stranger to pain.

Attribute: Willpower (6)

Before the Marine Corps, Andrew Wiggins had to survive childhood first. Verbal abuse and discipline was a common occurrence in the Wiggins household, and his marine training only helped to drive his already resolute will all the way home.

Gear: Armor (3)

Andrew still has a level III bullet-proof vest, which is rated to stop up to a .30-06 round, and a level IIIA Kevlar Helmet, rated to stop up to a .45 Magnum Round. Along with the rest of his old gear, which he keeps in a storage unit.

Gear: Arsenal (4)

Andrew has always been a gun and weapon collector. Through out his life he has amassed a small arsenal and has everything covered. Despite his collection, he has his trusty select few. A chrome 1911 .45, his M4A1 burst fire assault rifle with Grenade Launcher (No Grenades / Assumed Lost by Government), a very old semi-automatic Russian AK-47 updated to modern tactical standards, a Browning .30-06 with a 40x scope, an authentic WWII Katana plucked off the dead body of a royal Japanese soldier by his grandfather, and a trusty set of khukuri swords gifted to him after graduating from the Unspoken training in the Himalayans. All of this is stored in his storage unit.

Gear: Gear (4)

Andrew 'lost' all of his equipment and gear after his raid. The government didn't really ask many questions, but in the end Andrew was able to keep almost all of his Marine issued equipment. Back packs, digital camo, tactical vests, gloves, masks, survival gear, night-vision goggles, boots, knee-pads.. the whole sha-bang. Along with that, he also possesses the equipment from his Ninjutsu training, and his 'SpecOp' suit. Which was a specialized set of camo, similar to the woodland digital camo, but black and grey. It was the perfect stealth suit, and a prototype. This too is all stored in the storage unit.

Skill: Combat (7)

Since Andrew was a boy, he's been intrigued with the martial arts. Andrew's mother enrolled him into a Tae-Kwon Do day care program at the age of five, and by the time he was ten, he already held a second degree black belt. Hopping around from style to style, Andrew eventually ended up in the Marines as a special operative. As of today, Andrew holds a fourth degree black belt in Tae-Kwon Do, a black belt in Jujitsu, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai, while the military had him master Silat, and the art of Ninjutsu before being allowed out into the field, which took nearly a year after basic. His ability with any bladed or blunt stick like object is utilized to the max because of it. With all strengths however there is a weakness. His right leg is still damaged from the incident. He's unable to do all the fancy kicking he once was able to, instead he's forced to utilize his other expertise until his leg is fully healed.

Skill: Computer Science (4)

Andrew has some experience with computer science thanks to his dear old mom. He's not the most amazing hacker in the world, but he's been known to pull some pretty amazing stunts, that he himself wonders how he managed to pull it off. Despite it all, he's not been at a computer since he chose his life as a transient.

Skill: Espionage (4)

Andrew Wiggins, along with his team, had been formally trained by the CIA in espionage. The Marines cross-trained with the CIA only in special instances, yet it was vital that each member of the unit knew how to disappear, reappear, gather information, assassinate, and plant bugs/etc.. While he's no master spy, he passed the course, and earned a high level security clearance.

Skill: Hunter (5)

Since his earliest childhood memories, Wiggins grew up around hunters. Texas was filled to the brim with deer, and deer were tasty. He's able to live off the land. Track his food, stalk his prey, cover his scent, clean his food etc. After he joined the military, he learned to use his skills to hunt men. Coupled with his espionage training, Wiggins is the epitome of the word.

Skill: Linguist

Andrew was taught quite a few languages during his time with the Marines, but his advanced knowledge of Asian languages stems from his heavy involvement in the martial arts.

Skill: Marksman (8)

Along with Martial Arts, Andrew has spent his entire life around guns. Growing up in Texas in Ft. Hood, Andrew was a regional champion shooter by the age of sixteen. Both his father and grandfather were expert marksman, and his mother was a genius who had taught him the fundamentals of triggonometry, which in turn allowed him to figure out wind and distance calculations before he even touched on algebra in school. That ability alone is what seated his position as a Special Operative in the Marines. He's well versed in most forms of projectile weaponry. Despite this great ability, Andrew has only picked up a gun once since being ambushed. That unforgettable night still haunts his trigger finger.

Skill: Tactics (4)

Far from a Master Tactician, Wiggins still possessed a knack for figuring out tactical advantages and disadvantages, though he was always a bit unorthodox in his implementation.

Advantages

Advantage: Contacts

Should Andrew choose to get back in contact with his old friends, Andrew has a plethora of government contacts. From the CIA, to the FBI, Andrew KNEW someone. Yet no one has really seen Andrew much in the past year.. if it weren't for his occasional bank activity one would think he disappeared entirely.

Advantage: Resources

Despite being homeless, Andrew is far from poor. His parents came from a certain amount of money, and he was a bit of a trust-fund baby, but more-so, he amassed quite a bit of his own money, and still receives checks from the government to the tune of two grand a month for compensation. Andrew has a credit card, and will more often than not act homeless.. but he is far from poor.

Advantage: Storage

The only piece of property that has any kind of attachment to his name is a single storage unit in a very well secured, indoor storage unit. Should he have to, it's his base of operations. It is where he stores all of his weapons, armor, and gear.

Flaws

Flaw: Anger

Andrew has a severe anger issue. He's angry at the world for allowing themselves to become such a war-torn battlefield, he's angry at his government, he's angry at himself for surviving and not his men. Andrew snaps from time to time, and when he does he goes into a rage. The few times he's gone in for mental health treatments, he's walked away more damaged than when he TRIED to schedule an appointment.

Flaw: Anxiety

Andrew suffers from severe anxiety disorder, a side-effect from the PTSD. It's not nearly as bad as it once was, but he has a hard time being around large crowds of people for very long. So long as he drinks and smokes his ganja, he does not suffer from severe bouts of the disorder.

Flaw: Enemies

Andrew Wiggins has many enemies. Some haven't shown their face yet, some are dead, and some are still very much out there. His greatest enemy is an unknown enemy. Charles Leep. Charles Leep was a member of Wiggins squad, but he flunked out in the early stages of Ninjutsu, losing his mind when he was deprived of his senses. Charles vowed to destroy the unit, and dedicated the rest of his time waiting to strike. He had that opportunity, and tipped off a Warlord who resided in the mountains to their coordinates during a high-risk operation near China. It resulted in the death of all but 3 men. Charles will no doubt find out he didn't finish the job and come looking to settle the score down the road. His other enemy.. and it's self-induced hatred, is for the government. He feels that the Government used him and tossed him aside when they could've fixed him and put him back to work. He hates the police, and feels that they are failures at their jobs. Any more failures by the government, and Andrew might just have to show them just how bad they failed the people. Andrew also blames the government for the ambush, and is under the misunderstanding that perhaps they are the ones who tipped off their location.

Flaw: Homeless

Andrew is virtually homeless. He has a storage unit which he keeps his stuff, and occasionally sleeps during the winter, yet he prefers to live the life of a transient.

Flaw: Injury

Andrew Wiggins was one of three survivors in his unit. He had been shot multiple times in the legs and abdomen and was assumed dead by the attackers. He was discharged because his leg never fully healed. His speed is impacted, he's unable to kick with it, and he experiences pain from time to time, yet he's able to bypass the pain during times of great adrenalin.

Flaw: Morbid

Andrew is a bit morbid after his stint in the military. He's seen and done things that would make most men crumble under their guilt and shame. There is a certain amount of guilt and shame, but it seems to have affected his mental health in a different way. Surely the man could use some counseling.

Flaw: Paranoid

Not quite Paranoid Schizophrenic, but not far from it. Wiggins is paranoid. He thinks the government is out to get him. He trusts no one, he figures everyone is a spy. It's one of the main reasons he lives on the streets, and leaves a practically invisible paper trail.

Flaw: Ptsd

Andrew suffers from PTSD, ever since his nearly fatal night he's been weary of going around guns. Fireworks set him off. He nearly beat a man to death for pointing a BB Gun at another person in the streets playfully... they found him afterwards hiding under a bridge. It's pretty severe, yet alcohol and reefer seem to keep it in check for the most part.

History[]

Andrew Wiggins, son of Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Wiggins, grandson of General Talmadge Wiggins. This was the legacy that Andrew had to live up to. It would be a lie if one were to say it hadn't been a heavy burden on the child, but it was. Andrew was expected to follow in his families footsteps or they'd never let him live it down, therefor he spent his entire childhood outside of school extensively learning martial arts, and marksmanship.

After high-school, which he graduated with honors, Andrew joined the United States Marine Corps where he excelled in boot camp. Chosen as a special operative, Andrew continued his advanced training high up in the Himalayan mountains where he underwent rigorous physical and mental conditioning to fight a classified rising threat that was tightening it's ever present grip throughout the world. The training was brutal, and incorporated aspects that he never thought he'd have to utilize, such as espionage, ninjitsu, and a new career as a linguist. The success rate for the program was generally pretty high, yet one man failed to achieve his credentials, and he washed out.

For almost four years Andrew and company had been one of the most elite units, specifically being used for high-risk missions. Unknown to the group, they had been betrayed by a certain individual, who tipped off some Opium manufacturing terrorists to flank their convoy during a particularly high-risk mission on the border of China and Tibet. A heavy battle ensued, which left ninety percent of the men dead.

Andrew was not one of those causalities yet he had sustained several bullet wounds that left him in critical condition. Andrew Wiggins was lucky to be alive, as a local farmer found him and revived him.

When he finally managed to return to base, months after being classified as dead, he was given a purple heart and discharged, but it only sent him down a spiral of depression. He had spent all that time healing so that he could return to his job! The ONE thing he dedicated his entire childhood to. Once he was back on American soil, he disappeared.. choosing to live a life of a transient in the Big Apple.
