Over the grave of her sister, Claire Voyant agreed to a pact with Satan - to hunt the kill those who escaped his grasp, beginning with the murderer of her sister. Throughout the 30's, The Black Widow served her master well - and with the outbreak of war, was one of many costumed "heroes" who travelled to Europe under the aegis of one of the War Department's special branches. Captured by Nazis and held suspended for sixty years, she - along with 11 of her compatriots - was recently awakened.
