Limit: Extreme Temperatures : Polymer has trouble controlling her powers in these situations. If it's too cold, she's stiff and has trouble using her powers. If it's too hot, she's soft and 'melty'.
Polymer can squash, stretch and twist her body in a variety of ways. She's still getting used to it, so often over-stretches, or twists in ways she doesn't mean to.

Eliza has trouble controlling her powers sometimes... turning her head too far, stretching her arms too far when she yawns... she adamantly denies being Polymer and vice-verse, but taking off her glasses just doesn't seem to do it.
History[]
Before her abilities manifested, Eliza Edison was your typical lab technician. She studied Chemistry in Metropolis U, graduated with a decent grade and got a job in the LexCorp labs, doing all manner of jobs that the senior technicians were too busy to handle. It was a lot of watching centrifuges and running numbers, but decent enough. This changed when suddenly one afternoon at lunch she yawned, stretched, and felt her hand on the ceiling. A panicked dash to the bathroom on very unstable legs later, and she was barely able to hold herself upright. Half an hour later, things were better, but she was still very loose, prone to deforming when she stopped concentrating as she took the rest of the day off sick to get the hang of these things.
That night, wearing gym lycra and an old pair of sunglasses, she tried out some more on her roof. A passing hero or two was kind enough to offer some tips, and over the next few days she obtained a better costume, and a little more control over herself.
Of course, the real question is, what brought it on in the first place? Eliza wasn't aware she carried the X-Gene, and is a little old for that to manifest itself... was she exposed to something at her job? Trip on a forgotten alien artifact? She has many questions, and no answers just yet, but is determined to find out... but at the same time would rather not share it with her colleagues just yet.
As it transpires, Eliza was accidentally exposed to something at her job (The exact nature of which will be determined when it becomes relevant). If her employers become aware of this, she may find herself reminded of a few clauses in her contract concerning what parts of her genetics now count as company property.
