Her secondary mutation is that her body turns into an organic diamond. She still remains flexible, but stronger then in her normal flesh. She is unable to use her telepathy, and is protected from it as well.

Even among other telepaths, psychic surgery is considered rare. Emma has such a keen control over the mind, that she is able to influence the body to heal itself. It requires a great deal of concentration, and direct contact with the subject.'

Other then looking fabulous, Emma's true gift is her telepathy. She is able to read, control, and re-write minds. She may not be the most powerful telepath on the planet, but is highly finessed. Emma's mind is also able to travel from outside of her body. She is able to explore the astral plane at long distances. Her body remains vulnerable while she does so, but she remains aware of whatever is happening to her body.

Emma certainly has the nose for business, as she has started her own, and has made Frost International a name in the electronics and mechanical devices. She is well versed in broking deals with other businesses, and is able to charm or manipulate what she wants.

Emma has a particular fondness for teaching the leaders of tomorrow, particularly mutant and super-powered (or of high enough skill). She may have a firm hand in her guidance, but her intentions are for the students' benefit.

Emma isn't about to star in her own action movie, but she can hold her own even if it isn't the form of fighting she would prefer. If her defenses are down, she is able to defend herself in armed and unarmed combat.

Emma has no qualms about using her gift of telepathy on a regular basis. She will at least casually skim the thoughts of those around her. When she found a skill or knowledge lacking, she would borrow from other's experience.

Emma Frost comes from a well-known family, her father Winston Frost was on the Forbes list after all. While now estranged from her family, Emma has developed her own amount of fame. Frost International is well known, and as such she climbed the social circles. It couldn't hurt that she maintains a very distinct look.

Frost International is the multi-billionare company that Emma started from scratch. It's multi-national, so Emma can be seen traveling the globe. Her business, and well placed investments have made her very successful. Her company is primarily into electronics and mechanics, with plans to expand.

Emma knows the mind, so she is able to be social with just about anyone she pleases. She generally is in the rich and elite social circles around the globe. With her unusual style, and surprisingly approachable personality Emma has become a person to know and be known. To help aid in socializing personally and in business, Emma knows a variety of languages.

Flaws

Flaw: Enemies

A woman like Emma is destined to get into trouble, and she has. In the business world she has lost a few friends, and gained a few enemies. Emma is morally flexible, and has ruffled more then a few feathers. At times she has cut shady deals, or used private information against people. She is as ruthless as she is beautiful.

Flaw: Family Issues

Emma has come from a family that would have been too juicy to be a soap opera. Her father in particular, has had a great deal of influence on her worldview of men and power in general. Her sisters were little nightmares, and her brother drugged into insanity. Deep down she longs for a certain closeness, but would be hard pressed to ever admit it out loud.

Flaw: Flawed Diamond

Like any diamond, Emma herself in her diamond form has a small flaw. If found and broken, she could be destroyed. It is located in between her brows, but is hard to be seen. This issue, along with the limit in her telepathy keeps her from using the power as much as she should.

Flaw: Superiority-Complex

To get as far as she has, Emma needed to be confident. And now she is easily confident to a fault. She is always very sure that she is the most intelligent and witty person in the room, this being greatly influenced by how frequently she reads minds. Because of this she is not always the most cautious.

History[]

Emma Frost came from a cutthroat family, and this in turn has turned her into a cutthroat woman. Of course there is more beyond the surface. In her upbringing, she was raised to be a highly educated girl with a penchant for business. But her grades were lacking, and all she wanted out of her future career was to teach. Her father was a manipulative man who aimed to control everyone in her family. Each member found some way to cope. During her adolescence, she discovered her telepathy to various disastrous results. In time, Emma broke away and found her own path.

And along this path, Emma was able to construct the woman she wanted to be. Beautiful, blonde, and exceedingly rich. She paid her own way through college, with an education in electronics and education. One of her first jobs was as a stripper in the Hellfire club, where she wasn’t quite blonde and beautiful but was able to sway the minds into believing she was and many dollars from their pockets and stock tips from their mind. From this and other endeavors she was able to make her start her future. And through that she rose in the ranks of the Hellfire Club to become it’s Inner Circle’s White Queen

Today, Emma Frost is a woman with various achievements. Frost International is a world-known business, on the cutting edge of technology. More recently she has opened the Academy of Tomorrow, a school publicly known for housing a small selection of elite. It’s true purpose is to lead the mutant, super-powered, and above human skilled students of tomorrow. The class is small in scale, but houses only the best.

Began as one of the club's lowly strippers, Emma rose in power to the White Queen after Shaw's violent takeover. It's Emma's home away from home, and without it she wouldn't be the woman who she was today.

Emma's little darlings. They are her pride in the Academy, even if they are a challenge. Their relationship has become a great deal more complicated once it came to light that they were her clones, and in fact "daughters". Things have become rocky, but she cares for them very dearly.

Namor is another close ally of Emma's. While their relationship began in trouble, it's become a very welcome trouble. She has feelings as well for the King of Atlantis, but due to their easily distracted personalities and positions of power, they are not exclusive. But she trusts him more than she should.
