Epiphany Greaves

Epiphany Greaves is the daughter of influential British crime lord. She was sent to alchemy school after her mother died in order to aid her father's "business." Which Epiphany did for many years. Now she is rebelling and ran off to America.

If there is any one thing Epiphany is serious about, it's her alchemy and she is excellent at it. When she was young she was sent to a specialist school for Alchemy and has only grown her skill since. She can easily make healing potions, body enhancements, love potions, enhance the abilities of other substances, and other uses.

With a father like hers he insisted she learn how to handle a gun. She knows how to fire a variety of weapons, and has excellent accuracy. On top of this she knows gun safety and cleaning.

Skill: Hand to Hand (2)

Epiphany also has basic knowledge in hand to hand combat. She isn't a skilled fighter by any means, but she can handle herself in basic moves.

Skill: Occult Lore (6)

On top of alchemy, Epiphany is also well-versed in all things occult and actively takes interest in it. And anything she doesn't know off-hand she can easily research online and in her books (and sort out what's accurate and fake).

Advantages

Advantage: Crime Boss Dad

There are certain perks when you are the daughter of a crime boss. She is given a share of the resources, including money, supplies, and the occasional help of a goon. She also falls under his protection. Most low life's involved in any sort of organized crime organization knows not to mess with Terry Greaves' daughter.

Advantage: Occult Lab

Epiphany's pride and joy is her lab, where she tends to live and sleep. It comes equipped with every essential necessity of a lab, beakers, boilers, chemical and magical components, and safety equipment. She doesn't keep every ingredient in stock at all times, but she can whip up many emergency potions if under the gun, sometimes literally.

Flaws

Flaw: Crime Boss Dad

Having a crime boss for a father leads to a fairly difficult life. He's overly protective and violent, so Epiphany has difficulty maintaining any sort of relationship. She also gets regularly swept up into his trouble.

Flaw: Irreverent

She's got a bit of an attitude problem, and generally doesn't take much of anything serious unless it's working with dangerous products in the lab. Epiphany would be able to laugh off many things that would scare most.

Flaw: Lady Lazarus

Piff is addicted to the blood of a negative emotion demon that calls herself Lady Lazarus. This demon has resides in her sub-conscious mind and pushes at her to make her unhappy so she needs her blood more.

When in need of her blood she becomes irrational, twitchy and will even start to become fatigued and start to show symptoms similar to pneumonia. Depending on the stresses off her life she needs the blood at different intervals. Generally happy and stress free she can go a couple of months, the more stressful her life is the more she needs it sometimes as often as once a weeks.

Flaw: Punk Rock

Epiphany stands out in a crowd, and thats exactly how she wants it to be. She dressed in the "punk rock" look, having unusual hair, piercings, and clothing. Piffy also has adopted the lifestyle choice, as she doesn't conform to social rules. Or much of any rules.

History[]

Epiphany was born in 1986 to Terry and Brenda Greaves. Her father was a tough as nails mob boss, with a more innocent mother. Sadly she died of breast cancer when Epiphany was young, and a year later was shipped off to alchemy school. Terry hoped that his daughter's talent could be used to better his own career.

And for the most part, it did. Epiphany, even at a young age got a little too involved in too many various schemes. At one time she was even tasked with creating a more potent drug for prisoners to get addicted to.

After years of trouble and headache, Epiphany is now on sabbatical in America, Gotham specifically. It isn't particularly the best tourist destination, but it's better than what she had going in England. She wants to carve out a name for herself, or at least get some distance for a bit.
