About Themysciran Embassy[]
The Entrance Hall of the embassy is, as one might expect, very large. The architecture combines the best of the classical period of Ancient Greece and modern techniques, with a slant towards the ancient in terms of decor. Ionic columns frame several alcoves around the hall, which are the homes for statues of the goddesses of the Amazons but for one. This one - Athena - dominates the room as a large statue in the center of the hall, overlooking those who walk by.
By the front of the hall lies a very large, modern, mahogany desk behind which a secretary sits, sending visitors this way or that. Guards flank the doorway in front of her, both inside and out and are constantly at attention, should they be needed.
While the exits from this hall lead to numerous places in the embassy, two exits in particular stand out. The first is a wide, tall staircase that first leads to the Ambassador's office and beyond that, the living quarters for the staff of the embassy. The second is a hallway that leads to the rear of the embassy and is marked with signs reading 'Garden' and 'Training Circle'.
