Ravager

Oh quit whining. You're still alive aren't you?

Rose has seen the ups of life and experienced them, but when she hit rock bottom the only way she saw to go was up, and she will get there no matter who or what she needs to cut through. Taking on the name Ravager, decisions will now be her own, and she is dead set in the path no matter what it leaves behind her; sometimes it is a piece of herself as well as those that only seek to help. You know what they say about 'good intentions'.

Abilities

Gear: Armored (4)

Rose has a body suit made of a mixture of scale armor and body suit reinforced by kevlar flexibility and protection that enables her to withstand more than her unarmored physiology could, and not hinder her movement.

Gear: Swords (2)

Rose carries a pair of wickedly sharp swords forged of high grade steel(Toughness: 5). They are light enough to be dual-wielded comfortably and designed to be interchangably usable.

Power: Dexterity (6)

Rose takes after her father in many ways, including her ability to dodge bullets and perform acrobatic stunts that would leave even the finest of Olympic gymnasts in embarrassed heaps on the ground. This all stems from dramatic enhancements to both her musculature and her brain's processing capabilities brought on by exposure to the source of Deathstroke's powers.

Power: Endurance (2)

Rose can operate at peak ability for about a day straight without tiring, thanks to her body's ability to process the effects of stress and fatigue more efficiently than most humans.

Power: Healing (5)

Limitation: Recovering from near-fatal wounds causes a catastrophic series of neurochemical reactions in the already volatile Rose, leaving her in a blind fury that can take anywhere from days to weeks to resolve, depending on the severity of the injuries.

Since reconnecting with Deathstroke, Rose's ability to bounce back from injuries has been heightened beyond human limits, just like his. Broken bones take a matter of days to cover from, while lesser wounds might fade in minutes or hours. Near-fatal injuries send her into a 'healing coma' that can put her out of commission for anywhere from hours to days, depending on the severity of the damage. She can recover from being burned, shot, stabbed, beaten, et cetera, but she cannot recover missing limbs.

Power: Intellect (6)

Rose's mental processes run at about nine times the speed of a normal person's, allowing her to think much, much faster than most individuals. Her increased brain activity makes her a formidable adversary, as she's theoretically capable of processing information about her opponents and the surrounding environment at high speeds while simultaneously formulating plans and carrying out combat, all without losing track of any given thread.

Since she's an impulsive teenager, she still has a ways to go before reaching that level of skill and discipline in practice, but the foundations are there.

Before her most recent fatherly reunion, she experienced a limited form of this heightened mental acuity as adrenaline-fueled 'flashes' that allowed her to accurately predict an enemy combatant's next move before it could even be made. Although she came to understand this as a form of precognition, it was really a latent perk of happening to be Slade Wilson's daughter, and was her only unusual ability before he came into her life.

She doesn't have any working knowledge of super-science(or regular science, really, beyond about an 11th grade level) or other such advanced subjects; unlike most super-geniuses, her intelligence manifests in tactical acumen and situational awareness more than academics, due to her life experiences.

Power: Speed (1)

Rose is capable of sprinting at speeds well beyond what even the best human athletes can manage, up to about 60mph in short bursts.

Power: Strength (4)

Re-exposure to the source of Deathstroke's powers has imbued Rose with phenomenal strength, enough to lift about a ton without pushing herself.

Skill: Athletics (7)

Due to all of her training and intensity of it be it by self or another she has extensive and near surpassing Olympic level athletic ability.

Skill: Gunplay (5)

Rose's mother taught her how to handle, clean, and repair a variety of firearms, but since she typically prefers the rush of close combat, she doesn't employ her sharpshooting abilities terribly often.

Skill: Tactics (5)

Rose was been drilled in some of the finer points of tactics and strategy by both of her parents. Her mother tended to focus on situational awareness, preparedness, planning, and guerilla tactics, while her father's lessons were more varied(and oftimes lethal). She still has a lot to learn, particularly when it comes to actually taking the time to formulate a workable mid-to-long term plan of action, then having the patience to see it through; she's pretty comfortable when it comes to shorter term plans, though.

Skill: Throwing Down (7/8)

Rose's mother taught her a blend of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Krav Maga, and other efficiently-minded martial arts - some unarmed, some not - to help her prepare for the harsh, unforgiving world beyond her walls. Her father took that foundation of skills and honed it to a killing edge, taking care to give her plenty of opportunities to advance her training in practical settings rather than confining it to a dojo. She is most comfortable with a sword(or two) in her hands, having practiced extensively with them ever since adopting the identity of Ravager. Building on her two primary influences, Rose's personal style is brutal and frenetic, relying on quick maneuvering and vicious strikes meant to main or kill with the least amount of effort.

Advantages

Advantage: Mercenary Roots

Through many uses in her history or for her own need Rose has the knack and ability to track people, get in and out of situations, as well as obtain just what is needed for the job or to get the job done. Blame family for her second nature.

Advantage: Phone Call Away

Rose's history with people, be it through her mother or through connections after her mothers 'death', has some advantage that weighs in her benefit. She knows how to get in good, or get in bad, but in instances of being on people's good sides, or at least trusting side, she seems to be able to rely on them for what is needed, and get it.

Advantage: Slade's Rolodex

Rose inherited a list of contacts from her father. Decades of wetwork in the service of various governments and militaries allowed him to amass a fairly exhaustive roster of people who owe him favors or otherwise have some degree of loyalty to him, which he enforced on the strength of his reputation as a terrifying killing machine.

Rose is kind of a terrifying killing machine in her own right, but she lacks the experience, reputation, and actual connections of her father; whether or not any of her father's contacts will give her the time of day, or refrain from selling her out at the earliest possible opportunity given a better offer is a total crapshoot.

Advantage: VSG

William Wintergreen is the CEO and co-founder of 'Vigilance Security Group', a private military contractor operating in many different countries with offices in Arlington, VA, Eth Alth'eban, and somewhere in international waters. It specializes in protecting high value targets, but offers more modest packages for those seeking basic security solutions. Wintergreen and a board of directors are responsible for overseeing VSG's day to day operations, but until Deathstroke's downfall in Blüdhaven, Wintergreen essentially functioned as a subordinate of Slade Wilson; this arrangement was largely kept secret, allowing VSG to maintain a degree of plausible deniability where Slade was concerned.

Control of VSG has been shifted to Rose Wilson following Slade's apparent death; she is generally happy to let Wintergreen run the business as he will, but still retains the right to issue commands as she sees fit.

Advantage: Wealth

Rose has inherited her father's estate following his presumed death, placing her in control of a fortune in the 9-figure range.

Advantage: Wintergreen

Wintergreen was Slade Wilson's long time friend, assistant, and handler in all matters, on or off the field. While he is too old to personally enter the field, he still has plenty of military experience and knowledge to draw on, making him an invaluable asset even as a presence in a headset Following Slade's downfall in Blüdhaven, Wintergreen has entered into Rose's service and performs the same basic tasks for her that he did him-- including talking her down on occasion when the serum threatens to push her too far over the edge.

Flaws

Flaw: Addicted

Rose's previous ability to predict her opponents' movements was reliant on adrenaline, so she sometimes used inhalers of the stuff to give herself a boost in combat. Furthermore, Deathstroke administered periodic doses of the serum that created him during their initial partnership, keeping her on strung out on the violent impulses and turbulent emotions it engendered despite it not being necessary to maintain her powers.

Taken together, these two factors add up to dangerously addictive tendencies, and while her tactical mind is no longer reliant on adrenaline to function at full speed, the habit is still present. If she ever feels as if she needs a boost, she's liable to reach for an adrenaline inhaler... or any other kind of stimulant she can get her hands on, just to make /sure/ that her powers are running at full efficiency. Not only does this exacerbate her usual violent unpredictability, it leaves her prone to dealing with comedowns at inopportune times(like, say, during a 3 AM ninja ambush).

Flaw: Cloned

Some time ago, Rose Wilson was hired by the shadowy organization N.O.W.H.E.R.E. as a mercenary and guardian. Early on in their relationship, the organization decided to protect their investment by cloning her without her knowledge; since then, both Rose and her 'sister' have escaped the organization's clutches, albeit years apart.

Rose knows that she was cloned because she saw other 'hers' in varying states of maturity while she was escaping N.O.W.H.E.R.E.; she doesn't know whether or not she's one of them, however. The existential issues raised by this situation are problematic in that they represent even more pressure on someone with an already fragile sense of self, while the potential existence of Rose Wilsons who might be more inclined to play ball with N.O.W.H.E.R.E. is a more concrete concern.

Flaw: Enemies

Rose can potentially count people who know people her dad has killed, people who know people /she's/ killed, anyone associated with any organization she's run any kind of operation against, some number of space aliens/extra-dimensional beings/demons, and the enigmatic N.O.W.H.E.R.E. as enemies.

It's a pretty big list, and to complicate matters further, she doesn't actually remember most of the names on it, or know why they might be cross with her in the first place beyond some obvious assumptions(like murder).

Flaw: Memory Holes

N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s cloning processes had the side-effect of scrambling Rose's memories, leaving gaping holes in her past. This impacts the time surrounding her joining up with the organization most severely, to the point that she only really remembers the name of the group she signed on with before her life disappeared. There are some sizable gaps beyond that, leaving chunks of her childhood and/or mercenary career a blank; she does at least remember her family, including chunks of her tumultuous relationship with her father(although she doesn't know why, precisely, they parted ways before her lost years).

Flaw: Paranoia

Rose's experiences - losing two separate households, having years stolen from her by N.O.W.H.E.R.E., being taught about the uglier parts of the world by her mother and father - coupled with her overclocked mental processes and chemical issues all roll together to form an ugly knot of mistrust and paranoid tendencies. If someone or something gives her even the slightest hint of endangering her, she's liable to stab first and question later.

Flaw: Unstable

Rose is short on patience and quick to anger. This is in part because she's a teenager who's had a profoundly screwed up life, and in part because her brain chemistry was severely altered via exposure to the source of Deathstroke's powers. Social situations are tricky, both because she doesn't have a ton of experience in them and because she's liable to take a swing at anyone who comes at her the wrong way. If she gets bored - certainly not a difficult feat, given her enhanced mental processes - she's liable to seek entertainment by finding criminals to bully or a useless/unsightly building to burn down.

History[]

Rose was born to Lillian Worth and raised in a life of luxury, all a rather nicely placed veil placed by her mother who sought to keep the past just that, the past. Who her father was she never knew, and it did not seem to bother her, nor did the fact that she was raised in an upscale brothel. Though, Lillian made sure that Rose was always kept busy with her private tutors that taught her both for school and for combat.

Life was not to remain happy for long for Rose. A man came to Rose's mother, injured and while she nursed him back to health, Rose was in need of it herself. Someone seeking to harm the man Lillian helped took Rose captive and tortured her. It was not long before rescue came in the form of her mother and the man Rose came to know as Deathstroke - but in one being saved it was assumed that her mother died trying to strike her captor down with her vehicle that ended up careening off a cliff.

Rose's life changed from that day forward, for a brief time she followed Deathstroke and worked with him, being injected with a serum that not only amplified her, but made her more prone to violent outbursts, instability, and a ring of addiction to adrenalines that made her abilities enhanced even moreso.

Leading the life now of a lone mercenary she tends to go where the money is highest, or the risk level, perhaps even that of good company - though it only lasts temporarily for Rose, who took on the name of the man that changed her life into what it was... Ravager.

Working for an organization called N.O.W.H.E.R.E recently, she was hired to keep an eye on metahumans, her cold and unwavering demeanor as well as her skills made her the prime candidate to keep an eye on one experiment in particular - Experiment 13.
