Growning up in the slums of Gotham have shaped Sonia Alaxander into a vilgilante on the wrong side of the law. Sometimes called 'Dark Flash', she takes to the streets to exact her own judgement on those she deems deserving of it. Loathing drawn out fights, she uses her super speed to end things quickly.

Slowing time around her, Sonia can spot small movements and other such details that most people miss. It's like going frame-by-frame, but in real time.

Sonia can alter how time affects her, looking to observers that she is moving at super speed.

Sonia looks like an easy target for those who prey on the weak. To compensate, she's learned every dirty trick in fighting.

Flaw: Distrustful

On the mean streets, everyone is looking out for themselves, first and foremost. Sonia has learned the hard lesson of "Never trust anyone" and she's taken it to heart. She assumes anyone being nice to her is doing so for their own benefit.

Flaw: Malnourished

Growing up on the streets, plus having a power tied to calories, has made Sonia very thin and hungry. She is unable to do strenuous activity for more than a few minutes without becoming exhausted. This include the use of her powers. Also, she will eat (ie steal and eat) any food she can find.

Flaw: Street Rat

The streets of Gotham make a mark on those who grow up on them. Sonia's coarse language and rough demeanor make it nearly impossible for her to appear as anything other than a street kid. High end stores assume she's there to steal, not shop. If she's in the good part of town and something goes wrong, she'll be one of the first blamed.

Flaw: Uneducated

Because she left school before starting her freshman year, Sonia has an eight-grader's level of education. Anything above basic geometry confounds her, and she is largely ignorant of how complex things work, which can cause her to accidentally harm herself or others if she fiddles with something.

History[]

Sonia was born in the slums of Gotham. She never knew her mother, as she disappeared when Sonia was very young. Her father was addicted to drugs, and died when she was only 13. Soon after his death, Sonia discovered her superpower; however, she doesn't remember how she got them. Ever since then, she's been prowling the streets of Gotham, scraping an existence from the streets - and punishing any and all drug dealers she finds.
