At Midnight, EST, on June 20th, we will move from CLOSED BETA into OPEN BETA. In honor of this, we'd like to call it a PARTY and give our CLOSED BETA testers some presents while we help new OPEN BETA testers find their way here and start on their first character! We will all congregate in the lounge and answer questions for new and old players, and help players through Chargen as needed for these 24 hours.
CLOSED BETA testers will be able to app their second alt (once their first is approved) and, if they invite someone new to OPEN BETA who comes in on June 20th, they will also receive a full karma point! (See NEWS KARMA). All you have to do is invite someone here, ask them to arrive on the 20th, and ask them to claim or create a character bit, then have them +req KARMA=<Your Name> invited me to join HERO MUX today!
OPEN BETA testers will be allowed to app one character during the period of OPEN BETA.
NOTE: We anticipate OPEN BETA to last for one week, barring any major issues we need to fix or complete. We really need our testers to pressure test the game during this week. RP, use as many commands as you can, keep a weather on on the grid rooms, and PLEASE suggest new rooms to add to the grid. At the end of the week, if all is well with the HERO MUX universe, we will OFFICIALLY OPEN, at which time players may app the rest of their alt slots (one app at a time, of course).
